KDOT announces bids for State Projects

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas. In Marshall county, the Snipe Creek Bridge, located 3.36 miles east of the K-99 Junction on Highway 36, will be replaced.  Ebert Construction Company, Inc and Subsidiary of Wamego won the project at a cost of just over $1.1 million. Utility Maintenance To Affect Waterville & Frankfort Internet & Phone Subscribers

Blue Valley Telecommunications, Inc. will be performing maintenance on services provided to Waterville and Frankfort overnight tonight. The outage will affect internet and telephone services in the two communities and last approximately 30 minutes. The window for maintenance is between midnight and 5 a.m. on Thursday.
