Waterville Opera House and Koester Museum receive Grants for repairs

The Waterville Opera House and the Koester House Museum in Marysville received news that they will each receive almost $90,000 through the Kansas Heritage Trust Fund Grants.  Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cortland Man Turns Himself In

William Price, the 43 year old Cortland man that authorities have been looking for since last Friday evening, turned himself in to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office late Tuesday morning.  Price allegedly grabbed a .22 caliber pistol Friday evening and began firing shots while his wife fled the house.  She estimates he shot the pistol 20-25 times.  Authorities surrounded the ...
