Grand Jury clears Gage County Corrections

A Gage County Grand Jury ruled Friday that former jail inmate Cecil Creek died from natural causes. In July 73-year-old Creek was found unresponsive in his cell, was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital and pronounced dead. The Singing Cowboy Coming To The Kloppenberg Center

Richard Schmidt, known as the singing cowboy of Southeast Nebraska, frequently entertains residents of nursing homes and care centers, including Hanover Hospital. 6 arrested in Beatrice Meth Lab case

A sixth arrest has been made related to the discovery of a working meth lab found in Beatrice.  Daniel Lee Hile Jr., 40, was arrested Saturday for manufacturing a controlled substance.  Police discovered that Hile possibly left the home at 904 N.
