Garage and Home Damaged by Fire on Christmas

Second Waterville Home Destroyed by Fire

      A rural Waterville Home was destroyed by Fire on Sunday.  According to Waterville Fire Chief Dane Parker the home located at 1842 Second Road was completely destroyed.  The home belonged to Jeremy Milner.  A passerby noticed the fire at approximately 3:30 p.m. and called the fire department.  According to Parker, the home had already started to collapse when the ... Chili Cook-off results

Wymore Police investigating three home break-ins

Four theft cases are currently being investigated by the Wymore Police. A sixth arrest has been made related to the discovery of a working meth lab found in Beatrice.  Daniel Lee Hile Jr., 40, was arrested Saturday for manufacturing a controlled substance.  Police discovered that Hile possibly left the home at 904 N.
