State of Kansas Awards Road Construction Bids

A small plane crashes near the intersection of Highway 77 and Highway 24 near Leo’s Airport Saturday afternoon. The Beatrice Daily Sun reports the Gage County Board of Supervisors held a special meeting Wednesday afternoon and accepted the resignation of Highway Superintendent Marlin Kliewer and Weed Superintendent Emily Rosenthal.
