Beatrice Man Arrested for Fleeing from Police – Again.

Brian Daubendiek, 24, was arrested Sunday for operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and obstructing a police officer. Two arrested in Gage County for attempting to steal anhydrous ammonia

On Tuesday, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and the Southeast Area Drug Enforcement (SEADE) responded to 10387 East Elm Road in reference to theft of anhydrous ammonia.  According to the reporting party, Stanley Lenners, he had caught an unknown suspect stealing anhydrous ammonia from a tank located on his property. Beatrice Police were involved in a vehicle chase on Friday morning. An officer observed a pickup truck travelling north on sixth street.  The truck crossed over the yellow line and drove north in the southbound lane.  According to the officer the pickup stayed in the southbound lane forcing the officer to change lanes to avoid a collision.
