A fire early Friday morning around 2 a.m. destroyed a Wymore residence in the 400 block of 5th Street. Brian Pearson, and his 12 year old daughter, who woke to flames in her bedroom, escaped without injury. A Wymore firefighter was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital with a minor hand injury.
