Washington County Community Foundation Grant Recipients announced.

The Washington County Community Foundation has announced the 2012 grant recipients from the Washington County Opportunity Fund. The Hanover Senior Citizens received $350 toward the purchase of a microphone and speaker system for the Kloppenberg Center. Stadium Repair Fund Reaches $97,400

Blue Rapids Awarded $392,000

The city of Blue Rapids will receive nearly $392,000 for the rehabilitation of 13 homes and the demolition of eight unsafe structures. The funds were awarded by the Kansas Department of Commerce.
