Four area schools announced Homecoming Kings and Queens

Delay continues for Bulldog/Red Raider game

Lightning is still being seen to the Southeast of the field.  Heavy rains hit the Southeast part of Wamego.  Officials are monitoring the situation on portable computers.  The game will be delayed until officials no longer see lightning or hear thunder.  Stay tuned to KNDY FM 95.5 for updates.

Washington County Girls hold off Nemaha Valley

Washington County girls hold off  the Nemaha Valley girls in a back and forth game that came down to the last 30 seconds of play.  Washington County was able to sink several freethrows in the last 28 seconds and together with a critical turnover by Nemaha Valley went on to win the game 54-51.
