A Beatrice woman is facing felony theft charges after police say she misappropriated more than $100,000 from a local business. Jodi R. A 15 and 17 year old were arrested on Wednesday for multiple vehicle thefts including a Mercedes sedan found in the Chautauqua Park duck pond Tuesday morning. Fugutive Kyle Joekel failed to show up for a court hearing on a pending case in Gage County District Court in Beatrice. Gage County Highway and Weed Superintendents Resign

The Beatrice Daily Sun reports the Gage County Board of Supervisors held a special meeting Wednesday afternoon and accepted the resignation of Highway Superintendent Marlin Kliewer and Weed Superintendent Emily Rosenthal.
