Cortland Man Turns Himself In

William Price

William Price, the 43 year old Cortland man that authorities have been looking for since last Friday evening, turned himself in to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office late Tuesday morning.  Price allegedly grabbed a .22 caliber pistol Friday evening and began firing shots while his wife fled the house.  She estimates he shot the pistol 20-25 times.  Authorities surrounded the ... Gang-rape Victim Arrested

The reported victim of a gang rape has been arrested for lying about the incident.  27-year-old Jennifer Valenta was arraigned Monday for charges of perjury, tampering with evidence, false reporting, prostitution and other charges.   In November of 2011, Valenta originally told authorities that Elliot Hawkins of Wymore offered to pay her $300 in exchange for sexual acts.
