Cortland Man Turns Himself In

William Price, the 43 year old Cortland man that authorities have been looking for since last Friday evening, turned himself in to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office late Tuesday morning.  Price allegedly grabbed a .22 caliber pistol Friday evening and began firing shots while his wife fled the house.  She estimates he shot the pistol 20-25 times.  Authorities surrounded the ... Area Post Offices to Stay Open With Shortened Hours

Correction on Landfill Hours

In a news story yesterday, I stated that the Marshall County Landfill would be open from 3:30-5:30 Monday thru Friday.  It should have been the Marysville brush landfill will be open from 3:30-5:30 Tuesday thru Friday and curbside pickup of trees and brush will be next week during City Wide Clean up. Two Washington Residents were Injured in a Two Vehicle Accident on Friday.

New Magistrate Judge to be sworn in
