Fatality Accident On Highway 77 Near Randolph

A Fairbury man was killed Friday afternoon on U.S. Highway 77 near the Riley/Marshall County line. Twenty-Three year old Colton J. Schoenrock was northbound on Highway 77, went off the road into the west ditch and struck a tree, vaulted a driveway, landing on the passenger side. K-18 Construction To Lead To Road Closure Near Manhattan

A section of K-18 in Manhattan is slated for road closure overnights, next Tuesday through Friday. The closure will affect traffic from 7 pm through 5 am daily, and is part of an ongoing project to reconstruct a seven mile stretch of K-18 from Manhattan to Ogden to a freeway near the Manhattan Regional Airport.
