Soil Conservation Workshop Registration Closes Friday

Authorities Searching For Missing Frankfort Man

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Francis Kramer, 78, of Frankfort. He has been missing since Friday. Kramer was last seen in route to Sac & Fox Casino. Recalled Wymore Councilman Files For County Seat

Former Wymore City Council member Dan Hawkins filed for the District 6 Gage County Supervisor seat Friday afternoon.  Hawkins joins incumbent Supervisor Rex Adams and former Gage County Highway Superintendent Marlin Kliewer in vying for the seat. Gang-rape Victim Arrested

The reported victim of a gang rape has been arrested for lying about the incident.  27-year-old Jennifer Valenta was arraigned Monday for charges of perjury, tampering with evidence, false reporting, prostitution and other charges.   In November of 2011, Valenta originally told authorities that Elliot Hawkins of Wymore offered to pay her $300 in exchange for sexual acts. Death Reported After Industrial Accident at Landoll Corporation

The Marysville Police Department responded to an industrial accident at Shop 50 of Landoll Corporation along US Highway 36 early Friday morning. Steven Jay Medina, 35, was taken by ambulance to Community Memorial Healthcare, where he was pronounced dead. Medina was employed as a fabricator on the second shift. Marysville Home Destroyed by Fire
