Farm Accident Near Frankfort Claims Manhattan Mans Life

A farm accident in Marshall County Saturday evening claimed the life of Ted Samuelson, 81, of Manhattan. He was pushing brush on his family farm southeast of Frankfort when a tree fell on his tractor. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. three miles east of Highway K-99 on Valley Road. Samuelson was reported dead at the scene.

The Kansas Supreme Court last Friday upheld the conviction of Jason Lee Brammer, of Frankfort, who was found guilty by a Marshall County Jury on charges of involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol, and having no liability insurance.
