Bald Eagle found shot East of Beatrice

A bald eagle was found dead about 5 miles east of Highway 77 near Beatrice in mid February.  Federal authorities are investigating the death.  It appears the eagle was shot with a rifle. KDHE lessens the Centralia Lake warning to an advisory

KDHE has released an update on Centralia City Lake, in Nemaha County.  The KDHE states that levels are improving and the warning has been downgraded to an advisory to allow for boating and fishing at the lake.
