Independence Day activities kick off Thursday evening in Waterville, as the community hosts a barbecue and fireworks. The city of Marysville would like to remind residents that no fireworks of any kind shall be ignited or discharged in city limits between the hours of 10 p.m. and 10 a.m.  On July 4th fireworks may be discharged until midnight.  Fireworks may only be discharged between June 27 the July 5. City Council Extends Fireworks Hours

On Monday Marysville City Council approved a change in the use of fireworks within city limits. The council approved extending the hours that fireworks can legally be set off on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to Midnight. Read More »

Date Changes For Local Events Made

Several traditional June Events have been postponed until later in the summer. The Frankfort Summerfest will take place on July 2nd, to coincide with the opening of the new Frankfort Swimming Pool. Hanover Fireworks, normally scheduled the last Saturday in June, will be moved to July 23rd to accommodate wheat harvest. Read More »
