Axtell Home Destroyed by Fire

Fire destroyed an Axtell home on Monday.  An Axtell Fire spokesperson reports that the Axtell, Beattie and Oketo fire departments were called to a house on fire at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon.  The house belongs to Fred Feldkamp of Axtell.  Feldkamp was in the house at the time of the fire and was the person who called the fire ... Fire Destroys Home in Sterling, Nebraska

A house owned by Kate Agena, located on Illinois Street in Sterling, Nebraska was completely destroyed by a fire early Tuesday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Agena was not home when the fire started. Read More »

Seneca business falls victim to fire

A fire broke out SKF Sealing Solutions in Seneca Thursday evening. The Seneca Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at SKF Sealing Solutions located in the northeast part of town around 9 p.m. According to Seneca Fire Chief Brian Ruske the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries.
