Singular crowned Miss Rodeo K-State

Lindy Singular of Linn was recently crowned Miss Rodeo K-State at the 57th annual K-State Rodeo in Manhattan.  Singular is a 2010 graduate of Linn High School and was actively involved in FFA and a 4-H Club member and leader, along with basketball and volleyball. Long Time Valley Heights Teacher Passes Away

Long time Valley Heights VO-AG instructor and well respected FFA advisor Dan Palmateer passed away Sunday morning. He taught at Valley Heights High School for 37 years, from 1974-2011, and was also the girls basketball and track coach at various times throughout his career there.
