63-year-old Roger Brockhoff passed away Thursday at the K-U Medical Center in Kansas City.  He was injured in April 4th explosion at Brockhoff Manufacturing.   Brockhoff and another employee were working on a grain auger when the explosion occurred. Sabetha Man Critically Injured In Explosion

Brockhoff Manufacturing owner, Roger Brockhoff, was working on a grain auger when the explosion occurred last Wednesday morning.  The exact cause of the explosion is unknown. Brockhoff is at the K-U Medical Center in Kansas City in the intensive care unit. He underwent surgery Thursday for facial fractures. Neapco Explosion – Not an Explosion

Officials from Neapco manufacturing released a statement concerning this weeks fire and reported explosion of an air compressor.  According to Neapco the compressor was contained in a four-sided wooden structure. However, one piece of the enclosure had been removed by maintenance crews weeks earlier.  A representative from Neapco said they do not believe an explosion occurred.

Explosion at Beatrice Manufacturing Plant

An explosion and fire occurred Saturday night Neapco Components. The Beatrice Fire Department responded to the Neapco Components Building located in the Beatrice Industrial Park late Saturday evening.  Fire officials believe a radiator failure caused the explosion of an industrial air compressor in the northwest corner of the building.  Firefighters reported the sprinkler system contained the fire to that area. …
