Plane Crashes in Sabetha

No serious injuries were reported when a small plane crashed at the Sabetha Airport Sunday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 84-year-old Alvin Wenger of Powhattan was attempting to land his 1967 Cessna 150H Fixed Wing single engine plane when it crashed shortly before 1:50 p.m. due to operator error. Washington Count Firefighters respond to a Feed Truck Fire

Marshall County Fire Trucks Respond to a Call of a Vehicle on Fire

Marshall County Fire Chief Dave Richardson reported that fire units responded to 1010 North Street in Marysville for a report of a car on fire.  Upon arrival they located a small fire in the engine compartment of an SUV.  The fire was caused by leaves next to a heater core.  Chief Richardson reported the damage to the car was minimal.
