The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office received report of a break in at Community General Store in Summerfield on December 17th. Bond Set For Beatrice Men In Connection To Casey’s General Store Break-In

A $10,000 bond has been set for two men in Beatrice, after they broke a door at Casey’s Convenience Store and stole cigarettes. Nineteen-year-old Thoren H. Franzen, and 18-year-old Dakota B. Saul were taken into custody Thursday afternoon. Police had begun an investigation into the break-in that occurred around 1 am.

Van crashes through front door of 12th St. Liquor

BJ Patel of Marysville drove through the front doors of 12th Street Liquor early Monday evening. According to the report from the Marysville Police Department, Patel was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna van at about 6:20 Monday evening when he drove through the front doors, damaging the front door and walls of the building. Alcohol was a factor in the accident.

Marysville Police are investigating two incidents of vandalism. Unknown people kicked open the concession stand door at the Legion Ball Field sometime between 8 p.m. Friday, August 31st and 8 a.m. September 1st.  The value of the door was reported to be $600.  No items were taken. The RSVP office in Marysville has moved from 109 S. 8th Street to 813 Broadway, which was previously Dorothy’s Place (Café). There is a step out front with hand rails, however if people cannot use the step, they can come in the back door off the alley.
