Farm Operations Cost Fall

A new government report shows the cost of operating a Kansas farm fell slightly in 2010. Kansas Agricultural Statistics Service reports that statewide farm expenditures totaled $11.7 billion last year, down 2.4 percent from 2009. Marshall County Population Falls Significantly

Marshall County had the second largest population decline in the Northeast Kansas over the last 10 years at 7.7 percent.
