Deadline approaching for Wymore Water Project

The Wymore Rural Water Project will begin construction soon.  Landowners in the area have until Sept. 28th to become part of the project at a current hookup fee of $1,100.  After Sept. 28, the hookup fee will increase to $5,000.  170 of the area residents have signed up for the project.  The Lower Big Blue NRD is sponsoring the $3.2 …

Farmers and ranchers have until close of business Aug. 27 to offer eligible land for CRP’s competitive general sign-up. The registration deadline for a workshop entitled Keeping the Family Farming” has been extended.
