Tornado Drill 1:30 Tuesday

The National Weather Service will be conducting their annual tornado drill Tuesday at 1:30pm. The backup date, in case of severe weather, is March 15 at 1:30pm. The National Weather Service has declared March 12-16 as Kansas Severe Weather Week. Kansas had 68 tornadoes last year. The average for Kansas over the last 10 years has been 112. Tornadoes were ... Former Gage County Deputy Revokes His Own Bond

Terry Stiles, age 45, a former Gage County deputy was jailed Monday after asking the court to revoke his bond.  He was earlier convicted by a jury in September for two counts of third degree sexual assault of a child. Law enforcement reports that an e-mail is appearing in the inbox of residents..  The email states it’s from PayPal and the recipient’s account has been suspended.
