Wymore Man Pleads No Contest to Assaulting a Police Officer

A man accused of attempting to assault a Wymore Police Officer has reached a plea agreement with the court. According to court documents Clarence T. Former Gage County Deputy Revokes His Own Bond

Terry Stiles, age 45, a former Gage County deputy was jailed Monday after asking the court to revoke his bond.  He was earlier convicted by a jury in September for two counts of third degree sexual assault of a child. Fugutive Kyle Joekel failed to show up for a court hearing on a pending case in Gage County District Court in Beatrice. Hearing for Alleged Murderer Postponed

The hearing for 23-year-old Amanda Marina Baynton, was continued to September 1st due to scheduling issues involving court personnel. Baynton was arrested and charged with murder after police found 24-year-old Derek Baynton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the couple‘s home in the 600 block of Walnut Street.
