Beattie Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident Near Blue Rapids

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that a fatality accident claimed the life of a Beattie man Saturday evening. Robert Studer lost control of his motorcycle just east of Blue Rapids on U.S. Highway 77, shortly before 8 pm. Blue Springs Fire Department responded to a fire Wednesday afternoon.  The fire destroyed a tin shed filled with tires and several cedar trees near the shed. On Saturday October 1st, Merry Roop of Washington was driving a 1998 International truck on 21st Road just west of Upland Road. Roop lost control of the truck and the truck rolled over. Centralia Teenager Injured in One-Vehicle Accident

16-year-old Jonathan Durland of Centralia was injured Thursday evening in an accident in Nemaha County. Durland lost control of the vehicle he was driving and the car overturned. A motorcycle accident around noon on Sunday sent a Seneca man to the hospital.
