Injury Accident In Washington County Sends Driver To Hospital

An injury accident was reported in Washington County January 31st. Payton Duensing of Linn lost control on muddy roads, overcorrected, the vehicle overturned and struck several trees and embankments. He was taken by private vehicle to the Clay County Medical Center.

Washington County Fire Crews Kept Busy With Pasture, Barn Fires

Recent fire calls in Washington County had the Haddam and Morrowville fire departments respond to pasture fires January 22nd and 23rd. Hanover firemen were called out on the 24th for a controlled burn out of control, and Morrowville had a similar call January 26th. Barnes and Greenleaf departments responded to a barn fire last Monday at 2404 6th Road.

An injury accident was reported June 15th in Washington County. Makala Busch of Marysville lost control of her vehicle on Highway K-9 just east of Rainbow Road. Striking a field entrance, the vehicle became airborne, and came to rest in a field. A passenger was transported to the Washington County Hospital by Linn ambulance.
