Expect Delays On Highway 36 In Nemaha & Brown Counties

Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with a traffic signal operating on each of four bridges on US Highway 36 in Nemaha and Brown counties for construction work. Traffic may be delayed as a result for the duration of the project, with expected completion in mid-November.

Resurfacing Project Underway On K-9, K-99 & K-87 in Marshall County

Road construction in Marshall County began this week on a resurfacing project on K-9, K-99, and K-87. Work began on K-9 west of Frankfort. K-87 and K-99 work will follow. Traffic through the construction zone is being flagged, with a pilot car. Completion is not expected until early October. Kansas Department of Transportation has the route outline on their website.

Branch Street Project to begin May 1 in Seneca

Hall Brothers of Marysville put in the low bid for the Branch Street extension in Seneca, at a cost of just over $2 million for an asphalt surface roadway.
