Southeast Community College Raises Fees

Southeast Community College students will see an increase in tuition and fees for the 2011-2012 academic year. Beginning July 1, Nebraska residents will pay $51 per quarter credit hour in tuition, a $3 increase, and $1.25 per quarter credit hour in fees, a 25 cent increase. Southeast Board Passes Tuition, Fee Increase For 2011-2012

Christopher A. Clayton, 26, of Beatrice was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly stabbing a man during a fight. Beatrice Community Hospital contacted Beatrice Police after the victim of the stabbing came to the hospital for treatment. Blue Rapids Awarded $392,000

The city of Blue Rapids will receive nearly $392,000 for the rehabilitation of 13 homes and the demolition of eight unsafe structures. The funds were awarded by the Kansas Department of Commerce.
