Marysville School Board Hires New Football Coach

The Marysville Bulldogs have a new head football coach.  Eddie Minor, Leavenworth, was hired Wednesday night by Unified School District 364 board members. Minor has been employed at Leavenworth High School since June 2010.  He was an assistant coach for the Leavenworth Pioneers who made the 6A playoffs last fall and finished district runner-up to Shawnee Mission West. Marysville Head Football Coach Not Offered Contract

Marysville High School head football coach Brad Hammett will not coach the Marysville Bulldogs next year. The Marysville School Board voted not to offer Hammett the coaching contract for the 2012-2013 school year. Superintendent Chris Thexton confirmed that the board chose not to renew Hammett’s contract. Thexton was unable to provide any additional information or reasons for the board’s decision. ...
