Lawsuit filed against the City of Beatrice

A lawsuit against the City of Beatrice has been filed in Gage County District Court for nearly $217,000 by the former owners of the Villa motel.  Ray E. A Gage County District Judge ruled the City of Beatrice owes the State Bank of Odell $293,420 for failing to repay a loan it guaranteed by a Beatrice business.
