Two people were injured Thursday morning in a two vehicle accident just south of Beatrice. Alex D. Bald Eagle found shot East of Beatrice

A bald eagle was found dead about 5 miles east of Highway 77 near Beatrice in mid February.  Federal authorities are investigating the death.  It appears the eagle was shot with a rifle.
