An injury accident was reported Saturday evening in Nemaha County. Montgomery A. Leishing, 43, of Baileyville lost control, overcorrected, and his vehicle overturned on Highway K-187, just south of 92nd Road. Leishing was transported by ambulance to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital. An original price tag of $500,000 is now being reduced to $350,000, after counter offers by each party. Highland plans to use the facility for a learning center. A fatality accident was discovered early Sunday morning in Nemaha County. Twenty-year-old Kayla R. Strathman of Baileyville was southbound on K-63, about four miles south of 24th Road when her vehicle left the roadway, began to broadside, and struck a field driveway.
