Engel New Gage County Highway Superintendent


The Gage County Board of Supervisor’s have named Galen Engel as highway superintendent.  He had been the interim highway superintendent for over a year now, replacing Marlin Kliewer, who resigned in August 2011.  Engel will make $59,000 a year plus benefits.  He was making over $53,000 as assistant highway superintendent with interim head superintendent duties in 2011-2012. Nemaha County Sheriff Investigating Thefts


Several thefts were reported by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department.
