Schmitz to Represent Blue Valley Tele-Communications in D.C.

  Audrey Schmitz, Axtell has been selected to represent Blue Valley Tele-Communications in Washington D.C. at the annual Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Youth Tour this June. Kansas Flags to Fly At Half Staff Friday

Flags across Kansas will fly at half-staff Friday in honor of Sergeant Alexander Bennett who died August 6th while serving in Afghanistan. 24-year-old Bennett, of Overland Park, was one of 30 killed when their helicopter crashed after taking enemy fire. Two other Kansans died in the same indicent. Sergeant Bennett will be buried Friday in Arlington National Cemetery. Read More »
