Gage County Board Approves 2.66% Pay Increase For Elected Officials

An annual increase in salary averaging 2.66% for all Gage County elected officials, and their deputies through 2018 was adopted by the board of supervisors. An amendment to hold county supervisor pay at no increase failed on a 3-4 vote. The increase was a negotiated compromise that followed discussion after an initial proposal drew resistance.
