Marysville man found guilty of attempted murder

Douglas Kling of Marysville was found guilty Wednesday afternoon of five counts related to the 2009 stabbing of his wife. A 12-person jury deliberated only 15 minutes before unanimously convicting Kling of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated assault and criminal threat. ATV accident sends two to hospital

Two people were injured in an ATV accident on Sunday afternoon.  The Department also investigated an injury accident Sunday afternoon involving an all-terrain vehicle.  Nemaha County Sheriff’s office reports 20-year-old Prince Shaw of Bern drove an ATV through a waterway on private property when he struck a ditch, causing the ATV to roll over.  Shaw and a passenger were injured.  ...
