$100,000 truck lost in fire

Southeast Nebraska Co-op lost a truck valued at over $100,00 on Thursday.  Beatrice Rural Firefighters responded to a call of a truck on fire Thursday afternoon. Marysville man found guilty of attempted murder

Douglas Kling of Marysville was found guilty Wednesday afternoon of five counts related to the 2009 stabbing of his wife. A 12-person jury deliberated only 15 minutes before unanimously convicting Kling of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated assault and criminal threat.
