- W. Basketball. Goodrich Breaks Assist Record as Jayhawks Pick Up 69-64 Road Win at Texas Tech February 21, 2012
Kansas junior Angel Goodrich recorded eight assists to break the school's 24-year-old single-season assist record while also scoring a team-high 20 points to help lead the Jayhawks to a 69-64 victory at Texas Tech Tuesday evening. Goodrich's 208 career dimes pass Lisa Braddy's 207 assists in 1987-88.
- Softball. Kansas Duo Named Charlotte Classic MVP, Pitching MVP February 21, 2012
Junior Maggie Hull and freshman Alicia Pille were selected as the Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Pitcher, respectively, of the Charlotte Classic. As a team, Kansas posted a 4-0 record over the course of Friday and Saturday and was the only remaining undefeated team in the tournament.

Kansas junior Angel Goodrich has been named one of eight finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Award, which honors the nation's top collegiate point guard in Division I women's basketball.
- M. Basketball. Former KU Men's Basketball Captain Allen Correll Passes February 20, 2012
Former Kansas men's basketball captain, Allen Correll, passed away Saturday in Tacoma, Wash. Correll was a retired Human Relations Director for the city of Tacoma. Previously he had served in a similar capacity for the city of Des Moines, Iowa. He was a nationally-known public speaker.

No. 4/5 Kansas (22-5, 12-2) heads into the final two weeks of Big 12 play at Texas A&M (13-13, 4-10), Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 to start a three-game six-day stretch.

Kansas junior right-handed pitcher Thomas Taylor has been named the Big 12's Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb 20. This marks the first time that Taylor has been honored on the conference's weekly awards list.

On Monday afternoon Kansas players, along with head coach Bill Self, met with members of the media in Allen Fieldhouse. As part of the weekly press conference, the Jayhawks discussed their upcoming opponent, the Texas A&M Aggies. Self fielded questions on how his team plans to matchup with the Aggies' stingy defense, as well as how his team has found success in College Station in recent years.

Less than one month ago Kansas women's basketball knocked off then-No. 21 Texas Tech on Jan. 25 and now the Jayhawks will look to sweep the season series as they travel to Lubbock, Texas to face the Red Raiders on Feb. 21. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from United Spirit Arena. Both schools are 17-9 overall on the season but KU is just ahead of TTU in the conference standings with a 6-8 record. The Red Raiders are 5-9 in league play.

The Kansas swimming and diving team will make their return trip to the Mizzou Aquatic center this week for the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 22-25), as they look to finish the 2011-12 season on a high note.

Kansas' 83-50 victory over Texas Tech on Saturday saw four Jayhawks score in double figures, including two players who came off the bench; one of the double figure scorers was junior forward Kevin Young.
- W. Tennis. KU Tennis Wins Fifth Straight with 6-1 Victory over Arkansas-Little Rock February 19, 2012
Led by solid doubles play, the University of Kansas women's tennis team notched a 6-1 victory over the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans Sunday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center. The Jayhawks remain undefeated at 5-0 in dual competition, while the Trojans dropped to 5-7 for the spring season. This marks the best start KU tennis has had since the 1991-92 campaign.

Due to inclement weather in central Tennessee, KU's Sunday afternoon game against Lipscomb has been cancelled. No makeup game has been scheduled.
