With just one swing of the bat from Maddie Stein, a record was broken and a milestone victory achieved. Stein's fourth home run of the season lifted No. 22 Kansas to a 5-4 decision over Georgia State, making the senior KU's all-time RBI leader and marking head coach Megan Smith's 300th career win, on Sunday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark. 

No. 65 Jayhawks Blank Mountaineers, 4-0

The 65th-ranked Kansas women's tennis team used a fast start and a come-from-behind singles win to blank West Virginia, 4-0, Sunday afternoon at the Jayhawk Tennis Center. The win improves KU to 6-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Miller Completes KU’s Run at NCAA Championship

Chelsie Miller concluded the 2014-15 season for the Kansas swimming and diving team, completing the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:17.02 at the NCAA Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon. Miller finished 26th in the early heat, the second highest among Big 12 competitors, with the championship final to be completed later Saturday evening. It was the last of three events for the Kansas junior and perhaps her toughest swim yet.

NCAA Tournament: Jayhawks Prep for Shockers on Practice Day

Sunday's round of 32 features a storyline a little closer to home when top-25 programs Kansas and Wichita State meet for the first time since 1993 to decide who advances to the NCAA Sweet 16. Prior to the clash between the Kansas squads, the Jayhawks met with the media in the CenturyLink Center Omaha Saturday afternoon.
