Jayhawks Look to Bounce Back at Iowa State Sunday

NOTES // Coming off its first loss in three weeks Friday against Texas, the Kansas Jayhawks will look to bounce back Sunday against Iowa State. The Jayhawks and Cyclones, both looking for their first victory in Big 12 play, will meet in Ames, Iowa for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The match will be available to be viewed on Cyclones.tv.

Kansas Sweeps First Day of Jayhawk Fall Tournament

Kansas softball improved to 3-0 during the 2015 fall slate after sweeping the first day of competition at the Jayhawk Fall Tournament. The Jayhawks began the day with an 8-0 victory over Benedictine College in six innings and defeated Labette Community College, 3-1, in final game of the day. 

Cyclones Run Past Jayhawks, 38-13

Kansas football dropped its fourth-straight contest in 2015, 38-13, behind 175 rushing yards from Iowa State freshman running back Mike Warren. The Cyclones in total ran to 243 yards and three touchdowns as Saturday afternoon at Jack Trice Stadium.

Landes, Lokedi Collect Titles at Rim Rock Classic

Jayhawks swept the individual titles while the Kansas women claimed the team title in successful outings for KU cross country teams Saturday morning at the Rim Rock Classic. Senior Evan Landes earned the victory in the men's race in his first race of the season. Freshman Sharon Lokedi ran to an easy win in the women's race, also leading her team to first place in the team race.

Jayhawks Drop Big 12 Opener to Texas, 2-1

Photo Gallery // BOX SCORE // A pair of Texas goals off set pieces in the final 20 minutes of action proved to be too much for Kansas to come back from as the Jayhawks fell to the Longhorns in their Big 12 opener, 2-1, Friday night inside Rock Chalk Park. Freshman Grace Hagan cut the UT lead in half on her third goal in the year with ten minutes remaining, but KU was unable to pull out an equalizer, snapping its three-match winning streak.
