Miller, Kuchkarova Top Performers Among Another Slew of Record Breaking Swims



The second day of competition at the Big Challenge shared a striking resemblance to the first, as 13 additional meet records were taken down along with season-best performances from a variety of Kansas Jayhawks, including NCAA top-10 swims from Chelsie Miller and Yulya Kuchkarova, inside Capitol Federal Natatorium Saturday. The Big 12 closed in on the Big Ten's lead in the conference competition, now trailing 1,193 to 970. The Mid Major duo is in third with 237 points.

Jayhawks Face Arizona in First Road Test of 2015-16



Kansas women's basketball heads west for its first road trip of the 2015-16 campaign when the Jayhawks travel to Arizona on Monday, Nov. 23, the first of two Pac-12 match-ups during their non-conference slate. The road trip marks the first time since 2000 that KU has ventured to Tucson, Arizona. KU tips off with the Wildcats at 12 p.m., on the Jayhawk Radio Network.

Lokedi Takes 10th, KU Women 27th at NCAA Championships



RESULTS // Photo Gallery //Kansas cross country freshman Sharon Lokedi made history Saturday as she and the Jayhawk women's team competed at the NCAA Championships at E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer Park. Lokedi claimed tenth-place overall, which marked the best individual finish ever by a KU female at the NCAA meet. Lokedi's performance also led her team to a 27th-place finish in the Kansas women's first outing at the NCAA Championships in 21 years.

Meet Records Fall on First Day of Big Challenge



Gallery Link Photo Gallery  |  Fast suits and an added boost swimming for conference pride led to 14 meet-record breaking swims – seven in prelims and seven more in finals – at the Big Challenge in Topeka's Capitol Federal Natatorium Friday. After just five events, with the record book peppered, the Big Ten conference led with a combined score of 512.5 points, with the Big 12 (409.5) and Mid Major (123) squad trailing.

Khechfe, Jones Finish Third and Fourth on One-Meter Boards



Iowa State's Julie Dickinson posted another NCAA Zone Diving qualifying mark in finals to hold on to the top position after prelims and Kansas diving duo Nadia Khechfe and Graylyn Jones scratched out a pair of top-four finishes despite laboring on the one-meter boards to open competition at the KU Dive Invite at Robinson Natatorium Friday.
