Jayhawks Back on Track, Top Michigan, 6-5

Effective at bats in the fifth inning proved to be the difference maker, as the Kansas baseball team snapped a three-game skid Friday afternoon with a 6-5 win over Michigan at Hoglund Ballpark.

Kansas to Face Baylor in Big 12 Semifinal March 13

Big 12 Conference regular-season champion Kansas (25-7, 13-5) advanced to the Big 12 Championship semifinal for the 17th time in the 19-year history of the league with a 64-59 win against TCU on March 12. KU will face Baylor (24-8, 11-7) on Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. (Central) on ESPN2. The Bears defeated West Virginia, 80-70, in its quarterfinal contest on March 12.

No. 9/10 Kansas Advances Past TCU, 64-59

On Monday afternoon, freshman Kelly Oubre, Jr., told reporters how amped he was for the postseason. In his first opportunity, Oubre's actions spoke louder than words. The rookie powered the Jayhawks with a career-high 25 points to push No. 9/10 Kansas past TCU in the quarterfinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship Thursday afternoon inside Sprint Center.

Kansas’ Match-Up Against Drake Rescheduled

Due to scheduling conflicts, Kansas softball has rescheduled its early-week matchup with the Drake Bulldogs. The contest was originally slated for Monday, March 16 at 1 p.m. and has been moved to Tuesday, March 24 at 6 p.m. The matchup will still be played at Arrocha Ballpark at Rock Chalk Park.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – This past Monday, present and former Kansas student-athletes as well as faculty members joined together for the second series of KU's Career Development initiative. This initiative was created in order to connect Jayhawks past and present with similar career interests.
