NCAA Tournament: Kansas Season Ends With WSU, 78-65



In the end, the Shockers simply didn't miss. No. 2 Kansas got its 17 points from Perry Ellis in the ultra-hyped matchup against his hometown team and even got an additional 17 off the bench from Devonte' Graham. Yet, No. 7 seed Wichita State had every answer – the biggest being a 60 percent second-half shooting performance, to end the Jayhawks' season in the third round of the NCAA Tournament Sunday afternoon inside CenturyLink Center Omaha.

Home Runs, Records and Milestones, Oh My!



With just one swing of the bat from Maddie Stein, a record was broken and a milestone victory achieved. Stein's fourth home run of the season lifted No. 22 Kansas to a 5-4 decision over Georgia State, making the senior KU's all-time RBI leader and marking head coach Megan Smith's 300th career win, on Sunday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark. 

No. 65 Jayhawks Blank Mountaineers, 4-0



The 65th-ranked Kansas women's tennis team used a fast start and a come-from-behind singles win to blank West Virginia, 4-0, Sunday afternoon at the Jayhawk Tennis Center. The win improves KU to 6-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

The Kansas State women's golf team capped off its two-tournament road trip with a top-five finish following Saturday's final round of the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational.

No. 22 Kansas softball won its ninth-straight game after outlasting Georgia State, 8-6, in the its third game of the Rock Chalk Challenge and improving to 7-0 at Arrocha Ballpark at Rock Chalk Park on Saturday afternoon.

Miller Completes KU’s Run at NCAA Championship



Chelsie Miller concluded the 2014-15 season for the Kansas swimming and diving team, completing the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:17.02 at the NCAA Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon. Miller finished 26th in the early heat, the second highest among Big 12 competitors, with the championship final to be completed later Saturday evening. It was the last of three events for the Kansas junior and perhaps her toughest swim yet.
