Cornerback Duo to Represent Jayhawks in Super Bowl 50



For the second time in three years, the Jayhawks will be represented at football's ultimate stage as cornerback duo Aqib Talib and Chris Harris, Jr., helped the Denver Broncos stymie a Tom Brady led New England Patriots' offense with a 20-18 win Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.

Kansas Heads to Iowa State for ESPN Big Monday



No. 3/3 Kansas (16-3, 5-2) heads to No. 19/21 Iowa State (15-4, 4-3) for ESPN Big Monday, on Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. (Central). The Jayhawks, 11-time Big 12 regular-season defending champions, are in a four-way tie for first in the 2016 conference race with Baylor, West Virginia and Oklahoma, after their 76-67 win against Texas on Jan. 23. Iowa State, one game behind the group of four tied for first-place in the Big 12 standings, brings a three-game winning streak into ESPN Big Monday after its 73-60 win at TCU Jan. 23.

Wildcats beat Cowboys for needed win

Kansas State coach Bruce Weber often talks about reaching a magic level. On Saturday the Wildcats did just that, putting together one of their best performances of the season in an 89-73 win over Oklahoma State at Bramlage Coliseum.

Wildcats sweep Dodds Invite

Hosting its third indoor meet of the season, the fourth-ranked Kansas State women and 20th-ranked men combined for eight first-place finishes to sweep the DeLoss Dodds Invitational on Saturday at Ahearn Field House.

Kansas Swimming Sweeps Saturday Slate



Kansas won all 14 events to sweep an exhibition of collegiate swimming against William Jewell, Morningside College and Tabor in a successful return to Robinson Natatorium Saturday. Despite several swimmers competing in off-events, the Jayhawks handled the lower division competition on Club Day and rebounded from a tough swing through Florida during the team's training trip two weeks ago.
