Underage drinkers caught at party in Nemaha County

An underage drinking party was found in Nemaha County this past weekend by a Nemaha County Deputy. A little before 11 Saturday night, the deputy came upon the party a quarter mile west of D Road, on 112th Rd. Six people are facing charges of alcohol violations, however names have not been released. The investigation is continuing. Onaga passes bond issue to build a new hospital

A bond issue for a new hospital in Onaga passed in the General Election last Tuesday, with 79% of the voters wanting to pass the issue.  $17.59 million in tax-exempt general obligations bonds will be used with hospital cash reserves to construct a new facility and make renovations to the existing facility in Onaga, which was built in 1957.
