5 injured in Jefferson County Accident

Beatrice man attempts suicide while in jail

$800 worth of tools stolen in Corning, Kansas

$800 worth of tools were taken from a garage at 868 96th Road in Corning, Kansas.  Sometime Between March 16th and April 16th an unknown person took sockets, wrenches and a motorcycle battery from the garage.   The investigation is ongoing. Read More »

Vehicle stolen in Hanover

Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to 109 East Elm Street in Hanover to take a report regarding the theft of a vehicle.  According to a Washington County Press Release a 2001 GMC truck registered to Midwest Product Hanover was taken from the residence.  The vehicle was recovered later in the evening and the investigation is still pending.
