Marshall and Washington Voters turn out in force

Voters in Marshall County showed they cared with 30.17% of eligible voters in the county voting.  This far exceeded the estimates by the Kansas Secretary of state who estimated turnout in Kansas to be as low as 19%.  Washington county more than doubled the estimate with 45.% of eligible voters placing their votes at the polling places. Wymore Rescue Services must make a decision

A Beatrice man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly robbing the South Sixth St. Casey’s General Store in Beatrice.  According to court documents, Beatrice police were dispatched to Casey’s after receiving a complaint of an assault. Gun shots in Wymore led to the arrest of A Wymore man was late Wednesday night.  According to the Wymore Police Department Sidney R. KDHE issues warning for Centralia Lake
