Changes in State Fire Code

The Kansas Fire Marshall’s Office announced this week revisions that have been made to the Kansas Fire Prevention Code. House Acts on Governor’s Spending Cuts

The Kansas House of Representatives this week passed an amended series of state spending cuts proposed by Governor Sam Brownback. Governor Reorganizes State Ag Department

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed an executive order this week that consolidates the functions of the State Agriculture Agencies. Brownback’s move creates within the Ag Department the Animal Health Division which will now include the Animal Health Department and the Livestock Commissioner.
