Centralia Lake open for swimming

Centralia Lake use restrictions on water contact have been lifted.  KDHE says it has rescinded the advisory for Centralia City Lake in Nemaha County. The water is deemed safe for public use and there are no longer restrictions on activity. Read More »

Marysville hosts Historic Trails Symposium

The Historic Trails Capitol of Kansas Symposium will be Oct. 8th through the 10th at the National Guard Armory in Marysville. The event is sponsored by the Oregon-California Trails Association and is expected to bring scholars, history buffs and tourists to Marysville. Blue Springs council discusses new firehouse

Fatality accident on Highway 36

An Arizona man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Marshall County about 15 miles west of Seneca.
